Sepultura Announces New Drummer

Brazilian metal icon has found a new drummer with enough vigor to continue their tour. After plans of a solo career drummer Jean Dolabella, had left. At 20 years of age, Eloy Casagrande was invited to join. As a teen, Casagrande, had won the Modern Undiscovered Drummer Contest in 2006, and after 26 years Sepultura feels that Casagrande has enough merit and technique to strengthen the band’s history. Being a long time fan, in rehearsal Casagrande had sounded like a long time member, and was shocked when given the opportunity to stay.
Sepultura is currently home in Brazil preparing for a European run with Exodus and Destruction, which will kick off later this month. The band is touring in support of its 12th studio album, and Nuclear Blast Records debut, Kairos, which hit stores in July.
