Bring Me The Horizon To Release New Material On New Year’s Day

C’est un peu eux qui avait popularisé la tendance electro dans le metalcore avec leur album entièrement remixé Suicide Season : Cut Up. Bring Me The Horizon revient pour le jour de l’an avec un EP similaire. Depuis ce fameux jour de 2009, on a donc vu de plus en plus de groupes s’adonner à l’exercice tels que Suicide Silence, Iwrestledabearonce et son EP It’s All Dubstep, The Word Alive ou plus récemment Asking Alexandria avec Stepped Up And Scratched. Cette fois-ci les anglais ne remasteriseront pas l’entièreté de leur dernier album There Is A Hell Believe Me I’ve Seen It, There Is A Heaven Let’s Keep It A Secret puisqu’ils se contentent de sélectionner les meilleures pistes, ou tout du moins celles qui se prêtent le plus au jeu du remix. Également il ne s’agira plus d’une compilation mais d’un seul DJ du nom de Draper (spécialisé en dubstep/liquidstep). L’opus s’intitulera The Chill Out Sessions, le superbe artwork réalisé par Maxim Scott est à admirer en tête d’article.

Since this first approach we saw many bands trying to do the same with their best tracks, band such as Suicide Silence, The Word Alive, Iwrestledabearonce and their EP It’s All Dubstep or more recently Stepped Up and Scratched by the controversial Asking Alexandria. This time the UK natives are only mixing some chosen songs of their latest release There Is A Hell Believe Me I’ve Seen It, There Is A Heaven Let’s Keep It A Secret and with only one DJ, Draper, specialized in the dubstep/liquidstep material. The record is called The Chill Out Sessions and the handsome artwork made by Maxim Scott can be admired above.
