Bring Me The Horizon Talk About Their Fourth Album

Après l’annonce d’un EP de remixes, les anglais de Bring Me The Horizon lâchent via leur guitariste australien Jona Weinhofen quelques infos sur leur quatrième album à venir. C’est lors d’une interview donnée à l’Alternativ Press que Jona nous informe que le prochain opus sera tourné vers le courant post-rock. Il affirme en effet que Lee Malia – l’autre guitariste – et lui écoutent énormément de groupes post-rock tel que Explosions In The Sky ou This Will Destroy You, et qu’ils désirent se rapprocher de ce style en y ajoutant la lourdeur du hardcore. On devrait donc avoir un quatrième album branché très atmosphérique, pour une évolution qui pourrait remettre le groupe sur les rails. On rappellera qu’ils entreront en studio à l’été 2012 puisqu’ils n’ont encore rien écrit, en raison d’une incapacité avouée d’écrire en tournée.

Ils en profitent également pour sortir leur film « Lads On Tour » réalisé par le frère d’Oliver Sykes (frontman), Tom. La vidéo sera probablement censurée d’ici peu à cause d’un contenu un peu limite, mais si vous y tenez, la vidéo est disponible ici.

Just after announcing their futur EP remixed by Draper, the british guys of Bring Me The Horizon just said some words about their upcoming fourth album. It’s Jona Weinhofen who revealed in an interview gave to the Alternativ Press that he and Lee Malia were listening to post-rock bands such as Explosions In The Sky or This Will Destroy You. He revealed their desire to sound like them – and it means a really atmospheric music – with an heavy touch. They didn’t wrote a thing yet but they will because they are planning to enter the studio by summer 2012 for what could be a new evolution for the band.

They also release a documentary called « Lads On Tour » directed by Oliver Sykes brother Tom. The video will probably disappear soon due to a vulgar contents.
