U2 Work On Three New Albums

U2 a confié dans une interview exclusive destiné aux membres de leur fan club que le groupe est actuellement en train de travailler simultanément sur trois albums studio : «En ce moment, nous travaillons sur trois albums et nous n’avons pas décidé dans quel ordre nous allons les sortir mais The Songs Of Ascent a le genre d’intimité dont nous parlons aujourd’hui»

Par ailleurs, lors de cette interview, Bono s’est exprimé concernant l’évolution de la musique rock :

«Ce qui est vraiment intéressant c’est qu’au final les groupes de rock sont en train de former un club et d’expérimenter des sons qui, normalement, ne sont pas considérés comme authentiques pour les groupes de rock – synthétiseurs, sons expérimentaux – que vous pouvez entendre dans un album comme celui de The Temper Trap. C’est excitant, un nouvel hybrid.»

In an exclusive interview for the fan club members, U2 has confided that the band is simultaneously working on three albums : « We’re working on three albums at the moment and we haven’t decided what order we’re going to put them out but ‘The Songs Of Ascent’ have the kind of beautiful intimacy that we’re speaking of now ».

Furthermore, Bono spoke about the evolution of rock music during this interview : “Something really exciting is that finally the rock band is melting into clubland and experimenting with sounds that are not normally deemed authentic for the rock band – synthesizers, experimental sounds – which you can hear in an album like that by The Temper Trap. That’s exciting, a new hybrid.”
