Arctic Monkeys Rule Out Playing Any 2012 European Festival Shows

À l’affiche du Coachella Festival en Avril, les britanniques d’Arctic Monkeys ont déclaré lors d’un récent entretien avec la BBC Radio 1 qu’ils ne se produiront dans aucun festival européen l’été prochain.

Le groupe a en revanche confirmé la sortie d’un nouveau single dans les prochaines semaines, mais en excluant l’idée d’un EP : « Je ne pense pas que cela pourrait donner lieu à un EP. » a déclaré le frontman Alex Turner. « Nous sommes sur le point de partir en tournée avec The Black Keys et allons sortir un nouveau morceau avant ».

During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, Arctic Monkeys have declared they won’t be playing any European festival this summer.

They also confirmed they will release a new single before to go on tour with The Black Keys : We’re about to go and tour with The Black Keys and we’re going to put out a new tune before we go and do that. » said rontman Alex Turner.
