Lou Reed Talks « Metal Machine Trio : The Creation Of The Universe »

Lou Reed donne une seconde vie à Metal Machine Music, son cinquième album studio solo, dont un extrait est à écouter ci-dessous.

En effet, en collaboration avec les musiciens Ulrich Krieger et Sarth Calhoun, il a retravaillé sur cet album sorti en 1975 via RCA Records, afin de lui donner un nouveau souffle, en ajoutant notamment des instruments d’orchestre.

Ce nouveau projet, qui s’intitule Metal Machine Trio : The Creation Of The Universe, sera présenté au musée d’art de l’université de Long Beach en Californie jusqu’au 15 avril.

Lou Reed gives new life to Metal Machine Music, his fifth solo studio album, of which an extract can be listened below. Indeed, in collaboration with musicians Ulrich Krieger and Sarth Calhoun, he worked again on this album, released in 1975 through RCA Records, to improve it by adding orchestral instruments for example.

This new project, entitled Metal Machine Trio : The Creation Of The Universe, will be presented to the University Art Museum in Long Beach in California until April 15th.
