Air : New Single Feat. Victoria Legrand (Beach House)

Fin Novembre, le duo français Air dévoilait l’artwork et la tracklist de son prochain album intitulé Le Voyage Dans La Lune, d’après le film muet de 1902 du même nom réalisé par Georges Méliès.

En 2010, le groupe avait en effet reçu la tâche d’offrir une nouvelle bande sonore à la version colorée du film, diffusé cette année au festival de Cannes.

Depuis, Air a décidé d’étendre la bande-son a un album entier qui sortira le 6 Février, lequel contient notamment un morceau en featuring avec la frontgirl de Beach House, Victoria Legrand, intitulé « Seven Stars » en écoute chez NME.

Last month, the french duo Air unveiled the artwork and track listing for his upcoming album entitled Le Voyage Dans La Lune, named after the silent short film directed by Georges Méliès in the 10′s.

The project started in Cannes earlier this year when they performed a song for the coloured print version premiered this year at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

AIR decided to develop the project into a full album inspired by the film which will be released on February 6th. Expanding the original musical themes beyond cinematic instrumentals, the album also features the vocal talents and lyrics Victoria Legrand (Beach House) in a first single titled « Seven Stars » which can be streamed on NME.
