Nickelback Responds To The Black Keys

Patrick Carney, le batteur des Black Keys, a déclaré lors d’une entrevue avec le magazine Rolling Stone que «le Rock’n'roll est en train de mourir à cause de personnes qui sont d’accord avec le fait que Nickelback est le plus grand groupe du monde». Nickelback a comme à son habitude pris l’attaque avec humour et a répondu sur Twitter : «Merci au batteur des Black Keys de nous qualifier de plus grand groupe du monde dans Rolling Stone. Hehe».

Il faut dire que ce n’est pas la première fois que le groupe est victime de ce genre d’attaque. Rappelons qu’en Octobre dernier à Detroit, le groupe avait été victime d’un jeune américain qui avait lancé une pétition pour empêcher le groupe de jouer à la mi-temps d’un match de football. Face à ce boycott, Nickelback avait également répondu avec humour en tournant une parodie pour le site internet Funny or Die.

During an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Patrick Carney, The Black Keys drummer, declared that “Rock ‘n’ roll is dying because people became OK with Nickelback being the biggest band in the world.” As usual, Nickelback answered with humour on Twitter : “Thanks to the drummer in the Black Keys calling us the Biggest Band in the World in Rolling Stone. Hehe.”

We must say that it is not the first time that the band is the victim of such attacks. Remember that in Detroit on last October, the band was the victim of a young American who had launched a petition to prevent them from playing during halftime of a football match. Once again,Nickelback replied with humour by shooting a parody for the website Funny or Die.
