Bloc Party To Release New Album Later This Year With Kele Okereke

Les londoniens de Bloc Party sortiront bien un nouvel album en 2012, avec Kele Okereke. C’est ce qu’à affirmer aujourd’hui le chanteur dans une interview orchestrée par Zane Lowe sur la BBC Radio 1.

Alors que le groupe annonçait fin Septembre sa volonté de trouver un nouveau chanteur pour remplacer Kele, trop occupé par son projet solo, le quatuor a finalement enregistré pas moins d’une quinzaine de chansons à New York pour ce qui sera le successeur de Intimacy sorti en 2008.

British Indie rock band Block Party will release a new album this year… with Kele Okereke ! It is what the frontman announced today to Zane Lowe on Radio 1.

Whereas guitarist Russell Lissack, bassist Gordon Moakes and drummer Matt Tong confirmed last Septembre their plans to audition new singers to continue playing music without Kele who was too busy with his solo career, they finally written over 15 songs together for the follow up to their third album, 2008 Intimacy.
